Posted Apr 24 2013 7:21pm

eating disorder recovery and relapseRelapse is an big topic when it comes to eating disorder recovery. And it is important to address it and to keep shining a positive light on the experience – becuase relapse cerrtainly does not mean that you have failed or that you are not progressing in your path to full freedom and recovery. Quite the opposite!

It shows that you are movng to new levels, that you are taking risks, getting out of your comfort zone and the eating disorder is trying to fight back even harder.

So if you are having a “relapse” – congratulate yoursel. It means that you HAVE embarked on the path to recovery, you have decided that you want to recover and you are changing your thoughts, beliefs and actions.
