I posted this as a bulletin and blog on myspace but I still do not feel like it is enough.
David and Goliath (a brand I used to like) have printed t-shirts saying 'Miss Anorexic' on them. It can be a relief to make light hearted jokes about situations/illnesses sometimes but this shirt is offensive and degrading to those of us who suffer with an eating disorder, it's no wonder the disorders are not taken as seriously as they should be. Please share this information with those around you, ed support groups, friends and stop this. It's another form of thinspiration we don't need.
They've taken the link off since yesterday, so hopefully that is a good start and the product willl be removed.
