It’s so nice to be back even though I get really jealous of everyone else’s hard workouts. My workout consisted of walking on an incline. I really need some sort of plan so I don’t feel lost everyday.
It feels wonderful to be hanging out with everyone again though.
So , I’ve been trying to eat more clean and all. It’s been tough. I’ve been snacking on a lot of convenience foods like veggie chips and and cocoa almonds. I do not feel much like salads these days. In fact, they kind of make me sick. I’m sure it’s just my sensitive pregnancy stomach. Yesterday for lunch all I wanted was cooked mushrooms.
Don’t worry that’s not all I ate. I also had a half bag of veggie straws with mustard and jalapenos. (Tums are my new best friend)
I was craving a chocolate shake yesterday. I almost went to get one with the kids during half price happy hour at Steak n shake but I decided I should be a little better than that. (Actually Scarlet through the biggest fit before we left so I knew I couldn’t reward her.)
Chocolate milk wasn’t as good but it did the trick.
I didn’t bother putting any makeup on yesterday as you can see.
I made my meatloaf yesterday! I don’t know why meatloaf gets such a bad wrap. Its amazing. I’ll give you the recipe after I make it again and get a good picture. Braiden helped set the table yesterday, Spiderman napkins and all.
I love having family dinners.
Here’s a quick cooking tip since I didn’t give you a recipe….
I made quick last minute bread crumbs yesterday by putting four whole grain slices of bread in the toaster and the highest setting. After they cook and cool completely, put them in a food processor (or ninja I’d you’re lucky like I am) and process.
Tada! Quick whole grain bread crumbs.
