Quote of the day: “Go confidently in the
direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.”
-Henry David Thoreau
I realized over the weekend that I had not ran in 2 weeks. Sad, I know. Then I realized HOLY CRAPOLY! My half marathon is exactly 10 weeks away! I need someone to smack me and get me going! I got on the computer and searched for a 10 week training schedule. I found one at fitness magazine and downloaded it. This schedule is different that the ones I’ve tried before. It focuses on how long you run rather than how many miles. I’m going to give it a try. It has 3 days off a week which is great for me and I’m going to continue to do my Insanity as well. I can’t wait until it gets warmer outside… I’ll be a running fool from the months of May to October. (October is officially my first marathon. It’s already a done deal. No turning back)
Check out the Program From Fitness Magazine HERE . They also have a beginners plan.

I know I’m not good at sticking to plans, but I’m trying it again. I think the competitive side is really starting to come out in me. I want to get good, I want to get fast. Cross that out… I WILL get good and I WILL get fast. Watch out. 7 minute miles… here I come.
Monday was a scheduled off day by the way. I always thought it was weird when plans start off with a rest day. Anyway, I did my Insanity. Today is day 5 of 60! So far so good. Yesterday I did Pure Cardio. It’s my favorite so far! Today, I did Cardio Abs and Cardio Recovery.
Baby Insanity. She has great form.
I’m pretty sure the other moms at Braiden’s preschool think I live in sweats and a pony tale. The way I see it, why put on clothes if you just going to come home and do a workout? I do put on makeup before I go though so I don’t scare anyone.
Remember to think positive today! Positive thoughts lead to more positivity in your life! If you’re having a bad day, turn on a good upbeat song and forget about the negative. This is mine and Braiden’s favorite song at the moment. It always makes me smile. Questions: Do you guys have a favorite training schedule? Moms: Do you let your kids workout with you? What do you do when you’re having a bad day?
