The 30 Day Shred DVD by Jillian Michaels caught my eye yesterday while at Borders. Of course I bought it and couldn’t wait to try it out. Well, my husband has so many electronics and I finally figured out how to play it today and here’s my review of it.
The whole basis is a 3-2-1 concept: 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio, and 1 minute of abs. I figured that I would start off on Level 1, but I must admit that I thought it would be pretty simple. I actually thought that I would do Levels 1, 2, and 3 at one time. Well, I only did Level 1. :)
It was fun, short, and I felt my muscles working. It’s only 20-minutes, but it is jam-packed with continuous exercise and it is well-worth it in my opinion. There are no rest periods. You go-go-go. You also incorporate weight lifting with squats and lunges and I definitely broke a sweat, along with feelings my muscles burn. I would definitely recommend you trying this video… It sure beats spending hours in the gym on those days that you just don’t feel like going.
