Happy New Year's Eve people! I have dinner to run to and a friend's house party after that so I'll be quick with the re-cap of food and then my 2010 goals!! I'm curious about yours too :)
Breakfast: Oats, walnuts, coconut, mixed berries, 1/2 a banana, and FAGE Greek yogurt.
With a cup of my new favorite tea of the moment: Yogi Green Tea Blueberry Slim Life. It pairs perfectly with this breakfast.
Another newbie: Sunbutter which is a sunflower seen nut nutter. Hmm...interesting....
I used two mini Ezekiel tortillas spread with the sunbutter and topped with sauteed chicken and spinach.
Grilled this up in my quesadilla maker. For my dip I used FAGE Greek yogurt mixed with a tbsp of honey. Pretty genius if I do say so myself but I missed my almond butter :( This didn't compare.
So for my snack later in the day, I had a mini-quesadilla with almond butter and the other half of my banana from the morning.
And of course here are my 2010 goals that I hope to accomplish so help me out and hold me accountable this year:
1. Finally get my surgery done for my emotional and healthy well-being. 2. Continue trying to reach my healthy goal weight. 3. Train and participate in my first 5K or half marathon. 4. Join a new club/group/organization in my area to network. 5. Organize monthly get-togethers with my circle of friends. It’s so hard to coordinate with our busy schedules and I’m determined to change that. 6. Plan a BIG trip for the summer to another country. 7. Graduate in May with my Masters in Educational Leadership with a Principal Certification. 8. Re-locate to a new city in the summer and obtain a higher position for my career field.
