Ask your doctor about Topamax and Naltrexone. There is no best medication, it varies from drinker to drinker.

I have been on Antabuse 250 mg a day and when I relapsed I didn't get sick or anything. When I drink I go into blackouts and get extremely violent. I can't live this way anymore. I thought of increasing the Antabuse to 500 mg if it would work. I also was interested in the Naltrexone but my insurance won't cover it and I am on disability so income is limited. Please let me know what you think.
