Ask your doctor if this program is right for your son. He take it slow and take 12 weeks following this program.

First, he chooses a quit date when you will stop smoking.

Then, he should start taking Chantix 1 week (7 days) before the quit date.  This lets Chantix build up in his body.  He can keep smoking during this time.  Make sure that he tries and stop smoking on the quit date.  If he slips, he can try again.  Some people need a few weeks for Chantix to work best.

He can then join the Free Pfizer Get-Quit program for a full year of support to help him quit smoking.
