Dr. Sari Fine Shepphird, author of the new book 100 Questions and Answers about Anorexia Nervosa, is a clinical psychologist and eating disorders specialist from Los Angeles, California. Working with a full spectrum of eating disorders issues, her experience on the subject spans nearly twenty years. In addition to maintaining an outpatient private practice, she provides consultation about eating disorders to the media as well as to other treatment providers. She has enjoyed a long history of public speaking and is very active in advocacy efforts related to mental health issues. She is also the author of Treatment Notes, a Weblog for professional treatment providers who wish to learn more about eating disorders.
