My brother 37 is suffering from super sress since 6 month during previous week he had high blood pressure 150/100 and chest pain now he has diagnosed  mildly thickend mitral valve with prolapsing both mitral leaflet.He is a good swimmer.Is he going to be ok?please respond. amna

i have cardiomyopathy left venticle 49% ejection, no arterial disease, ventricular fib short infrequent episodes over past five years, no dizzziness, shortness of breath, passing out, am I a good candidate for abaltion and if treatment what is prognosis.

I was just diagnosed with lvh, mitral regurgitation, tricuspid regurgitation.  Am a black female, 46 yo, should I be scared? what can I do NOW to help myself? Is it ok to continue to exercise? how about high impact exercise ie running, step aerobics? Please respond, thanks.

Question - in a person that had a TIA  presents with grips 5/5 on L and 4/5 on R,  has diminished pinprick and 2 point discrimination on R as well as a slightly + Babinski and brisk DTR on R. Explain the significance in broad terms. tx (lfox)
