Health knowledge made personal
After graduating Brown medical School in 1982, I have integrated Western medicine with Chinese medicine. I love to teach women about their symptoms which are not to be ignored or written off as "just part of being a woman!' My book, The Natural Hormone Makeover (Wiley, 2008) explains how hormones work and how to support them naturally to improve energy, mood, sleep and prevent PMS, breast pain and other complaints that so many women suffer through unnecessarily. Vitamins, mineral, amino acids and natural hormones can work effectively to help regain balance. I write my blogs to educate and enpower women about what they really need to feel well and to dispel myths and misinformation in the media that can be overwhelming amd confusing.
