Health knowledge made personal
I am a clinical neuropsychologist by training, which means that I am trained to work with folks having psychological difficulties, especially as these relate to their brain. I worked in the field of brain injury rehabilitation for...ahem...many years.
But in the past few years, I have moved from helping folks adjust to their brain injuries to actually helping people change the way their brains function.
My primary tool for doing this is something called "neurofeedback" - brain-based biofeedback. I also do telephone coaching of individuals who can't get to my office, to help them learn more indirect ways to actually evolve the way their brain functions.

Oh -- and my picture? - that's an actual image of my brain at work, taken with BrainPaint software. Amazing, isn't it?
