About Dr. Ellie Dr. Ellie believes that tooth decay and gum disease are preventable. Unfortunately dental myths and misinformation are everywhere. Who wants the discomfort and pain of disease or avoidable dental treatment? Tooth decay is an infectious disease and it is transmissible. Parents infect their baby with their own tooth decaying bacteria. Control mouth acidity and you will control harmful bacteria. Dentists blame patients for insufficient flossing, but this can change with Zellies, a delicious and easy solution for your dental health. Dr. Ellie is a mother of five and lives in upstate New York. Future plans include books about preventive dentistry and a series of childrenâ??s reading books that take a light hearted look at health issues.
