Dr. C I am looking for the details of the federal law where it says that insurance companys must cover all types of reconstruction, as I am fighting my insurance for a diep flap after my implant is starting to extrude from my skin. Thanks

If your mastectomy is covered (which it always is if it is performed for breast cancer), then your reconstruction is covered too. Treating complications that arise from your reconstruction are also covered.
The coverage laws depend on the State:
