Gabi enjoyed another day at VBS. I went to drop her off and we were surprised to find Buddy The Bat there. Buddy is the mascot for The Louisville Bats Baseball Team. Of course, I was caught without my camera. So, I snapped these shots with my phone's camera. Gabi moves a bit too fast for my phone's camera so her face is blurry.
Gabi is holding hands with our friend Michele (who is Controller for Louisville Slugger Field). She's probably the reason why Buddy The Bat made his appearance. Michele was also kind enough to surprise Gabi with her own VBS Game Day Central T-shirt tonight. Thanks Michele!
Gabi was in awe of Buddy The Bat that I was having trouble getting her to turn around for a picture.
She finally turned around, but it was so fast that she turned out to be a blur. (sigh) Oh well!
This was Gabi at the end of the night. She was obviously worn out. For those who don't know her very well: When Gabi gets sleepy, she starts sucking her tongue like a pacifier. That is what she is doing in this picture. It's quite difficult to do really. Try it! (I'm here laughing at the thought of people reading this and trying it!)
