A few weeks ago I finally got all three (four) of us to sit down together to let our camera magically take a self-timed picture of us. A friend of ours (Hi, Michelle!) asked us to send a picture of our family to her amazing daughter, Karly, who has recently finished treatments for cancer. Michelle is making a scrapbook for Karly to include all the people who have been praying for her and sending her positive energy. We have been following Karly's progress closely and are overjoyed by the latest developments in her health.
When I went to get our card in the mail l in time for the big celebration party they had for Karly a couple weeks ago I realized that we really don't have ANY family pictures and I am thinking that once Sir Baby comes we really ought to get ourselves to a photographer. Or at least hand the camera off to someone else every now and again. Alex or I (usually I) always operate the camera so we never get a good group shot.
I am not saying this shot is great. It ain't. And really, I should show you the outtakes because they are pretty funny. Do you know how hard it is to get three people to look in the same direction at the same time and not look like total goobs? I don't have the time to get all the outtakes up. But this was the least ridiculous one. Look! It's us! And again, we are so happy for Karly and her great family!
