T'ings

Poor little Georgia is allergic to Penicillin. Her father and I are also so I guess it's no big surprise, but since she's taken plenty of antibiotics in her short life and did NOT have a reaction, it was a little unexpected. She's had a touch month. So much moving around, Roseola, more driving north and south again, sleeping in a bajillion different beds and now, although we stopped the meds a couple days ago, her rash is worse and she vomited up her breakfast this morning. Moments ago we gave her her first ever dose of Benadryl in the hopes that it will clear up the rash a bit. It might make her drowsy, but if she's anything like her mum was when she was a child, it MIGHT make her zoom off the walls and do backflips. I just hope it makes her feel better.

In other news, we took a morning drive to take a look at some more areas near us. We drove through Hampden and saw the legendary Cafe Hon although we didn't stop to eat this time. Saw a bunch of cute little shops and houses which will be nice to revisit and we drove past a pool we are thinking about joining this summer. There's a lot to explore and discover around us and it's nice to know we have the time (seeing as how we plan to live here for awhile) to do it without feeling rushed.

So many museums and parks and things. I do sort of wish I were on top of my game (re: the pregnancy) so Georgia and I could explore even more while Papa Daddy is at work. But we'll work it out eventually.
