This camping trip may be just what Kellen needs. The opportunity to get away from home for awhile and be around lots of understanding people. There is lots of commotion and entertainment with eight kids here so far and three more coming on Wednesday. So far no one has fallen into the fire and we haven't had to go in search of anyone. One of the moms brought glow sticks to fasten into the girl's hair. That way we can keep track of them in the dark. Sweet Husband made a batch of chocolate chip cookies before we left home. Tonight we had the great idea of roasting marshmallows and putting them between two cookies....oh the decadence!
p.s. after I typed this last night I went to get ready for bed. In the dark I found my toothbrush and felt around some more for toothpaste. I put some on my toothbrush and then headed to the bathrooms. Once there I started brushing my teeth and realized that there was NO WAY that I was using toothpaste. I realized that I had squeezed my prescription face cream onto my toothbrush instead...sigh.
