I am a living example of what can happen to a woman's brain when pregnant. Funny things happen all through my last pregnancy and I have to admit, I kind of thought it was fun and interesting. I loved seeing what would come out of my mouth when I least expected it. That is, of course, EXCEPT when I was mad or frustrated because pregnancy brain had a way of really rearing its head in those situations and that just made me MORE mad or frustrated.
Pregnancy brain for me means a lot of things. It's more emotional, more irrational, more cravings-driven (and not just food). But it's mostly a verbal-related event. I will get the genre of thing correct but when searching for a word I might side 'washcloth' instead of 'napkin' or 'microwave' instead of 'dishwasher'.
For instance, Georgia just sneezed. I felt my brain go through its filo-fax to come up with the correct phrase one says when another sneezes.
