Have you ever joined a club that you didn't want to be part of? Well, I have... thanks to Preston! He has pushed me in the door of this club, locked me in, and has ignored my pounding and screams to let me out. "Hi! I am Shannon, and I am the mom of a picky eater." Now everyone say, "Hi, Shannon."
Michelle over at In The Life of a Child has started the Picky Eaters Club. Pre-Preston, I used to brag about how well my kids ate. I never had to worry about them not eating. But Preston is a whole other story! Crackers, bread, spaghetti, and Gerber Lil' Crunchies (aka "baby crack" in our house) are about the only things I can get him to eat, and even those things are a battle at times. I wish I had advice to share, but I am so new at this (Preston is 17 months old) that I am writing this seeking advice. Help! He drives Ryan and I crazy when he won't even try food. The pictures in the slideshow below were taken a few days ago while I attempted to feed Preston lunch. Keep in mind that he LIKES spaghetti and he acted this way.
Any advice for me?? If you want to participate in the Picky Eaters Club, then head over here and join in! I'm looking forward to reading everyone's entries for some tips and maybe mealtimes will get a little less stressful around here.
