Leftist cultural imperialism in Africa, Obama vs. Catholic Church

I have been saying since last spring that I think the battle lines are being drawn between the Obama regime and the Catholic Church - and part of that his his playing to CINO (Catholics In Name Only) and using that association for cover. Is it judgmental to call Pelosi, Kennedy, Biden et al CINOs? I mean, who am I to judge?

The Church has NEVER wavered in its 100% pro-life - not just anti-abortion, but pro-life - position. To say a politician can be a true Catholic when they ignore this fundamental and central tenet of our faith is as absurd as saying that they could condone and legislate in favor of any other sin. Period. End of story.

One of the main reasons I reverted to the Catholic Church two years ago is because it has indeed remained faithful to the teachings that once were followed by all Christian churches, but abandoned one-by-one since the Lambeth Conference in 1919. The Catholic Church has shown integrity and the ability to withstand cultural pressure.

For this reason, Obama has singled out the Catholic Church as an enemy (sometimes his fixation on anyone who will not come under his total thrall reminds me of Sauron in Lord of the Rings) - and done his best to undercut it with his speaking at Georgetown (where he had the cross covered) and Notre Dame.
