No. Not any on my blog. I mean, let's face it, I've been rushed and rusty.
But if you follow this link to Tara Marie's blog you will find a message of such, I think, extreme importance written by her friend Mary Beth Paul. Please read it and take it to heart.
I still remember all the numbers of people who said to me after Georgia was born by way of tryng to comfort me, "At least it's not autism, autism is really hard."
And cringing.
It's not fair to compare it to other diagnoses or even itself.
It is what it is for everyone. Some lives are more complicated or complex, but no less valuable and important. We all deserve respect and kindness and the right to "brag" no matter how big or small the accomplishment, and also to cuss and cry no matter the size of the hurt.
We all need to hold each other up. Acknowledge and accept. Together.
