Last night was our Buddy Walk pre-registration party. And I volunteered to help hand out the bags of goodies, exchange shirts (for either bigger or smaller ones), and put together last minute bags for the late registrants.

My ob/gyn and her family are there to pick up their bags. Yes bags, she registered everyone individually. I told Teressa that I was glad I'm not having any more children; she's not going to deliver any more after January. Even though she didn't get to deliver Aiden, he is still one of "her babies".

This year DSAT is doing something different for the teams. We are doing team flags that we will get to decorate and re-use every year. Each team/child with Down syndrome gets a flag. Some of the children who don't have Down syndrome were not too happy with this idea. They wanted flags too.

Which prompted C, the son of DSAT president Erin, to start asking everyone, "Who has Down syndrome?"

Immediately, Cyanna - Teressa's daughter, shoots her arm up in the air (as high as she can get it) and yells "I HAVE DOWN SYNDROME!!" And she said it with such pride that everyone laughed.
