It's been a busy week, coming and going all over the county. Yesterday I was in the office and struck up a conversation with our executive director about the Ashley Treatment. She had just returned from attending grand rounds at Seattle's Children's Hospital where the subject was the Ashley Treatment.
I told her that I had just read an interesting response from Stephen Hawking on the Ashley Treatment the day before. She thought it sounded interesting and asked me to forward the link when I had a chance. I spent a few minutes looking through my volumes of email and then did a quick web search, but didn't find what I had read anywhere. I even emailed a couple of co-workers and they didn't remember reading anything from Stephen Hawking.
Later that night as I was eating dinner, a slow grin came across my face. My husband asked curiously, "What are you thinking about?"
I had just been thinking, "Hey, what if there had been no response from Stephen Hawking and I dreamed this?" That would be so weird, because I remember some quotes from the article.
