Heart Center of St. Francis

Posted Jan 27 2009 6:28pm

I love the hospital, they give me things to blog about.

For the past year, St. Francis Hospital has been under construction. They built the new Children's Hospital and are currently remodeling the Heart Center where Dr. Pediatric Cardiologist's office is located. The office has expanded and takes up most of the floor now.

Well, Monday I went to our Mended Little Hearts of Tulsa. I stepped into the elevator to go down into the Dead Zone"no cell phone signal" part of the building - the basement. I was prepared to hit the "B" button.

Right above the control panel is a little, teeny, tiny sign.

The floors have moved! How on Earth are 6 entire floors going to move?

Dr. Pediatric Cardiologist's office, which was on Floor 4, is now located on Floor 2. The classrooms, where we hold the M L H meetings, were on "B" level. "B" level, along with the 4th floor, no longer exists. "B" level is now Level "AA".

Since the Heart Center is directly attached to the main hospital, they got the brilliant idea to label the floors to coincide with the main hospital. Even though, they are still two separate buildings.
