Top Dems: Obama Won't Get Health Care Bill in 2009

Senior Congressional Democrats say reform before end of year is highly unlikely.

Senior Congressional Democrats told ABC News today it is highly unlikely that a health care reform bill will be completed this year, just a week after President Barack Obama declared he was "absolutely confident" he'll be able to sign one by then.

"Getting this done by the by the end of the year is a no-go," a senior Democratic leadership aide told ABC News. Two other key Congressional Democrats also told ABC News the same thing.

Here's my advice for Obama:  Stay in the White House for a few months and stop gallivanting around at taxpayer expense to raise money for your party and have those controlled campaign stops that feed your ego.  Give up the golf and expensive date nights and keep workouts in the gym to a reasonable amount.

Try really hard to become less needy and narcissistic.

Fire the radical members of your staff who have alienated the American people.  Dismantle the Czarist empire you have built.  Reinstate FOX and stop the politics of personal destruction.  Live up to what you promised by being transparent and open to what others to say - so far these have been only empty words and yours has been the most secretive and hostile administration we've ever seen.

Find out what other presidents have done as their normal work days.  Go about your work quietly and humbly and let us get back to ours.
