Here are a few good things I’d love to share, that have come across my desk (does anyone even have a desk any more? I don’t know why I typed that. I don’t have a desk…I have a basket on top of my microwave, which holds all my important papers, and my computer. I suppose I should have typed “desktop”!):
If you are a blogger and you’re planning to attend the NDSC conference in Sacramento in August, a group of fellow conference-attendees have put together a way to identify each other–visit www.dsbloggers.blogspot.com, where Monica will create a personalized badge to bring with you. There is also a button you can grab for your blog, too, if you want to help spread the word.
And here’s a terrific resource for parenting kids with disabilities from Bloorview Kids Rehab, Canada’s largest children’s rehab hospital. It’s called BLOOM, a wonderful magazine on parenting kids with disabilities that you can order in print, or read online here. You can also read the blog, here.
