Gabi went to the pool last night with your dad and me. She has a great time. It's the first time that your dad went with us. He really enjoyed playing with her. He was laughing a lot. She has been so good for him. I know that it's a long time for her to be away from you. But God had a mission for her to complete this summer. I think she is just about finished with her mission. Your dad is starting to live again. On the way out to the parking lot to get the golf cart Gabi fell on the asphalt. She skinned her knees and the front of her chest. You know Gabi she didn't want me to look or touch. She kept telling me no. I got some spray disinfectant that Linda had. After she was clean I sprayed her boo-boo's. I had to be really fast. I turned it into a game. I told her I got her that I was faster than her. She started to laugh and told me I was silly.
We took Gabi to dinner at the Captain's after the pool. Your dad said he really enjoyed going out. Gabi had pasta with red sauce and cheese. It was a big bowl. She ate every bite.
She is enjoying going out with us. She loves to go to dinner and the movies. I think we are going to try to take her to see the movie Wallie. It's about a robot. She saw the previews and thought he was funny. By the way she has been very helpful shopping in the stores. She helps push the cart and gives her option on what we should get. There are times when she tells me I'm silly. We just laugh together.
She does miss you and her dad and baby boy. That is what she calls Preston when she talks about him. I tell her that she will see you soon. That Linda, Papa and me and the dogs are all going in Linda's truck to go and get mommy. I told her I had to wait for my vacation and then we would leave. She promptly responds with "Thank you Nana". She will be happy to see you, but I hope that she will miss us too.
She has a book to show you. It's about her vacation. She's very proud of her book.
