One of our favorite things to do out here in no man's land (have I mentioned that Vermont is my favorite state and I love country living? Why, oh why, then is it so unbearable here?? (Maybe it's the crackheads and the absolute nothing to do? Who knows.)) (<-----double parenthesis!) is go to the co-op for a bit o' ginger and peach scone and occasionally, oh...I don't know...yeast or honey or curry covered cashews or...well...spinach! (Note: I know I have been here a long time by virtue of the fact that that fine cashier used to have really short hair. And now? Long!)
There's just something about the atmosphere at the co-op (and of course the scone) that makes life in the QC more tolerable just by going there. It's like a little oasis. And little G, as usual, minds her nanners (sic) while we are there (as she tends to do just about anywhere we take her so I can't really say it's the co-op that she loves). But I do.
(Alex demonstrates spinach buying in action.)

And now all I want is a GP scone!
