Aiden likes this standing concept. Sunday he spent the day standing up to the sofa tickling my back as I was attempting a nap and Chris kept telling him to "Get Momma".
Last night, Chris was removing algae from the sides of the fish tank and Aiden was sitting in the recliner. It wasn't too long before Aiden decided to stand up in the recliner. Which rocks and not in the "whoo hoo" type of rocks. Aiden ended up doing a complete 360 - backwards - off the recliner and onto the floor. I waited for the scream, instead it was laughter. Yeah, not good.
Then Aiden wanted to "help" feed the fish, so he stood at the fish tank trying to reach up. Aiden wants to catch those fishies. There are little paw prints from on the glass from a certain little boy. If he caught one, it would definitely go into the mouth in under 3 seconds.
We spent the next 2 hours trying to calm Aiden down. Everything would piss him off resulting in screams and tears. The ball wouldn't bounce right, tears. The toy cell phone wouldn't bounce right, screams. The refrigerator was the wrong colour, screams and tears.
Aiden fell asleep at 7:30pm last night. And stayed asleep until I had to change his diaper at 10:30 and get him in his jammies. Can we say total meltdown? Since it was Chris's idea to even touch the child, Chris got to deal with it. The child does not like to be woken up. PERIOD!
He sounded really congested last night, so he got called in at school. Which was probably the best idea I had all day yesterday.
This morning, he was up at 5am and not in the happiest of moods. Would someone please tell me who told sick 2 year old little boys that 5am is an appropriate time to wake up? Aiden decided that today was a good day to release all the snot that has been clogging up his face.
