This is what it looks like when the Curtis Family and the Walraven family arrive somewhere at the same time. Only there are some people missing - like Tripp, Jesse and Justin who stayed at home and Ben who was already inside with Anna awaiting the guests at their wedding shower. Plus Matt is taking the picture - I asked him to try to capture what it looks like when our family comes to visit.
We had a houseful as not only did Ben, Zach and Sophia come home from college for the weekend, but Ben brought four friends. The shower was planned not in the traditional Ladies Only, but for friends and family so everyone - bridesmaids, groomsmen and family - could get to know each other before the wedding. A really cool idea - now the rehearsal dinner May 21 will be like reconnecting with old friends.

Funny moment: Realizing from the dazed and helpless look on the guys' faces as we began the contest that this must seem crazy to the guys, I said, "Oh, this is what we do at showers," to which Chad replied in bewilderment "But this isn't fun. . . ."
