Last Night, I attended my first Buddy Walk meeting. It's a meeting to organize the Buddy Walk in this area. Our Buddy Walk will be Saturday, September 29th. I have never attended anything like this before, so it will be a learning experience. I can probably contribute in a small way this year, and maybe next year, I will be comfortable enough to become more involved in the planning stages. Anyhow, one of the ladies brought an article from our local newspaper to the meeting about a prom that was held in our area for teenagers and young adults with Down Syndrome. It's a great article.
