my daughter has pain in the right knee? is it curable? Is it infective or will you call it a symptom of infective rheumatic disease which later affects valve of the heart?

At last, my right knee begins to feel like normal after I used yur specific method of vector/weight bearing with gentle squats which I read about this morning and had to write as it was surprisingly instantly successful, apparently putting the joint on track. In March I fell on a fast backwards figure skating move which impacted the right knee enough that I stopped, iced it and quit for a day.  SInce the hurt was not inside , between the weight bearing bones, but seemed mostly to be a swelling on the front below the kneecap, though the impact had been on the right side of the knee, I was fully able to skate, but not bend my knee fully inwards without pain.  So I have been skating alot, with no pain  during the skating, butsome off ice.  Leg lifts from a chair helped, then with a weight on the ankle, massaging on the left side of the kneecap where it was swollen a bit helped alot until that went away.  Stretches of all sorts helped continued with the leg lifts etc, and a skaters exercise of squatting against the wall pressing a pillow between the knees, but there still was a feeling of thickness in the joint which still did not allow me to bend inwards as fully, without pain in there.  Generally skaters use the outer quads alot, and not so much inner, so I had gathered it was good for me to do some exercise to keep the patella in the middle position, as it was a big surprise that  it could be displaced.  Your exercise is great!  Actually, though I have an elastic band, I just held a doorknob with my left hand to allow my body to achieve a good 'lean' and bent on the right knee keeping the rest of my body on a fairly straight axis, ie weight straight down on the knee. Now there is maybe a little sense of pain, but the thick/obstructed feel is not there. Excellent! Thank you!
