Number of miles in a 5K I ran a 5k recently and was surprised to learn how many of my friends didn't know how long that was. The answer is 3.1 miles. A Kilometer is about .6 miles, so for a 5K just mutliply 5 km by .6 to get 3 miles

Feb 7 - 14 miles Ah, 14.1 miles in Redwood Park today, that's more like it. Didn't get around to doing the yoga though. Tomorrow I'll try to get in 6-9 fast pace miles - weather permitting.
