I'm a 55 year old candlemaker who works at home with my husband Lloyd and my two kitties. Our kids are grown and out of the house; I have 3 little grandchildren. I have overcome carcinoid cancer in 2011 and now I am facing breast cancer, diagnosed January 4, 2012. I am gathering as much info, connecting with as many survivors, and anxious to get this show on the road to recovery.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer on Jan 4th 2012. Trying to make sense of all of this and gather information. It's truly overwhelming. I have a mastectomy scheduled for Jan 27. After that, I hope to have a clearer plan of action once they know more about my tumors and whether the cancer has spread to my lymph nodes.
