Hello! I am a 37 year old Canadian teacher who has had a life long struggle with her weight. In 2006, I decided that gastric bypass was the intervention that I needed to save my life. It has been 2 years since my roux en y, and I enjoy sharing my experiences and opinions in order to help others who are considering surgery or just want to know more about it and the lifestyle afterwards.
