Family Job Loss - forced family to not be able to afford Orthodontic visits. Apparently they could not keep up with the payments. Teen has had braces in mouth for about a year with no changes or follow-up. Bands not changed, etc.
What are the overall health implications to the teen from this scenario?
Teen has irritation and minor sores on corners of mouth. Also complaining of nausea and stomach aches often. Any relation to braces?
