What can cause constant regurgitation of food?

Posted by Charmaine Patient ExpertHealth Maven

My 17 yr old daughter has been regurgitating her food mildly for about a year now, and the past few months it has gotten more severe. It happens all day long with every food and drink, even water and bread. The doctors keep referring to it as reflux, but there is no acid coming up at all, no burning etc., just a little food one mouthful at a time. We had an upper endoscopy done today and they did find some bile in her stomach, but they didn't tell us what that means. Does anyone have any thoughts?
