I have IBS-C. I tried Reglan, but got so depressed and anxious on it, I had to stop it. I've read where Reglan is a dopamine antagonist, and sometimes used in the treatment of schizophrenia. I would like to try Amitiza, but am afraid that I would have the same reaction. Is Amitiza similar to Reglan? What exactly are the mental/mood changes that might occur with Amitiza?
