Found this soup in Trader Joe’s a few months ago and have been enjoying it. Makes a nice light lunch with some fruit or an SCD muffin or bread. Also makes a great snack when you’re craving something salty. Most of the soups on the market contain some kind of sugar sweetener. This one has no sweeteners. The ingredients are:
Filtered Water, Tomatoes, Tomato Paste, Vegetable Juice Blend (carrot juice concentrate, celery juice concentrate, red beet juice concentrate, parsley juice, lettuce juice, watercress juice, spinach juice concentrate), Natural Flavors, Sea Salt, Gum Arabic, Potassium Citrate, Ascorbic Acid (vitamin c), Vitamin A Palmitate (Soybean Oil as a processing aid).
While it contains tomato paste, juice concentrates, and gum arabic, all of which are iffy on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, I have not had any problems with this soup. I’ve already consumed three or four containers over the past 2 or 3 months and would recommend it as a good product.
