My youngest daughter, Katy. Simple line sketch with values added in Photoshop.
I've been trying to create, write, draw something every day. Even if it doesn't come out perfect, it's still worthy of the time spent because of how it calms and centers me. Perfect is over rated anyway. I have been having issues with anxiety lately and I have found that if I turn on peaceful music, or 'sing along' music and grab a pencil and my sketchbook and just sit and draw it really does help. The trick is to surrender yourself to the moment. To focus on the pencil moving over the paper and to allow your right brain to take over. Not sure what to draw or think you don't have any drawing talent? Look up zentangles on Google. You'll find some nice inspiration that's low-threat, very calming and anyone can do and enjoy.
