sharp stomach pain

Posted by rmc225

for about 3 days, i have had waves of sharp stomach pains that come and go throughout the day. It started when i ate a mexican rice dish(betty crocker - mix it yourself type dish that ive eaten a few times in the past and never had a problem with). For the most part thoughout the day, i feel a very slight lingering weird feeling.it feels like i have been throwing up the previous night and have a slight hangover, but my appitite is still completely there, and it always feels like im just a little hungry). but if i go without eating for a few hours or so, i start feeling really hungry really fast(goes from normal to sharp pains in about 5 minutes). the best that i can describe it is that its like i feel really hungry, only it is 10 times worse/intense and the sharp pains come and go every minute or so. to fix the pain all i have to do is eat to get the sharp pains to go away and go back to the "weird" feel that i feel all day. there is a difference with this feeling when i eat compared to a normal hungry. when i am normally in the hungry state to where it hurts a little and when i eat it takes a few minutes for the hunger to go away. with what i have right now, the sharp pains go away seconds after i start eating. i woke up early this morning with sharp pains and i ate a bagel and yogurt and the sharp pains went away and went back to the mild "weird" feeling almost instantly.

i have have no other problems with anything other than this pain. i have not vomited or felt nauseous at all. i have also had two bowel movements since then and they have been completely normal. i dont feel any burning or anything irregular with urinating. no fever either. i feel completely normal other than these sharp pains and i am really confused.

Hello,

Have you found out what this is? Im experiencing the exact same thing - got woken up at 5am by intense stomach pains and they get better with eating.

Let me know,

Thanks.
