I experienced phantosmia (in my case, a burning acid smell) that I later came to associate with a subsequent diagnosis of reflux. Is phantosmia a common precursor to developing reflux?
Other than antacids and anti-acidity prescriptions, are there other recent developments in the treatment of reflux?
