I was having pain in the hip and down the left leg with a weakness in the left ankle. The pain was very sharp and would sometimes be in the glutes, too. The doctor ordered an MRI and, quite by accident, found a cyst anterior to L2 that he said could cause digestive problems. He is sending me to a general surgeon.
