Monday Morning Dysfunction * warning - mild whine alert

Posted Jun 15 2009 6:30pm

But first, a Monday morning picture.

This cute little baby squirrel was born late in the season. His mother made her nest in a tree in our yard and we got to watch his progress as he grew brave enough to travel from his nest to the branches, to the trees, and finally to our deck. Worried about his chances of survival over the winter since he is so small, I've been feeding him as much as he can possibly hold.Little Guy is not complaining. He's finally big enough to handle the walnuts and totally approves of chocolate chip cookies.

Good Monday morning to you all,
Did you know that Monday is my favorite day of the week? Time to put a fresh start on everything and get back on schedule. Five whole days stretch before me to do what ever I want. However, today is a dysfunctional Monday. A Crohn's Monday. Totally knocks the wind out of my sails when my Monday does not go the way I had planned and is instead spent in bed and in the bathroom. The pain, the nausea, the whole thing just totally pisses me off. Okay, end of whine.
Just needed to get it out, thanks for listening and now, on to other things.
This weekend was um...well, it was a weekend. Nothing major happened. My cats, on the other hand, really enjoyed themselves this weekend. Click Here to find out what I mean. Katy describes it much better than I could.
Our Mayor is still missing. No one seems really all that concerned about it. http://www.kotatv.com/Global/story.asp?S=5661677&nav=menu411_2_5
I love how the new mayor-elect says that Jerry Ryan just needs time to think. In another article Babbit then goes off on how he is more than happy to step in early and babbles on about his amazing victory. He probably has Jerry Ryan hidden in his basement.
Oh, that reminds me.
I know that Lindsay of Suburban Turmoil, lives in a town called Bellevue. I, also, live in a town called Bellevue. Not the same one. Aside from the Bellevue Mental Hospital in NYC, I was wondering if anybody knew of any other Bellevues out there? Read more...
