I have been diagnosed with anemia ferropenica as my blood test showed low ferritin levels and am now taking Kilor iron supplement. Have had gastroscopy and colonscopy also to rule out any more serious problems. Am waiting to have an intestinal transit study by x-ray as part of the investigation.
