I lost alot of weight do to surgery and was wondering if a doc can prescribe steroids to help gain the weight back.

I have an ileostomy do to UC. I use to be into bodybuilding, never did steroids. I eat healthy. However, do to surgery I lost 50lbs and at 5ft 7. I ended up with a blood clot and other things in the hospital. That was 5 years ago.
