I have really bad acid reflux, but I love to cook. Are there thinks I can substitute in my favorite recipies to cut the acidity?

 Follow these recommenditions for  symptoms of acid reflux.

* Avoid trigger foods (typically acidic foods like tomatoes, juice, etc.)

* Eat small meals throughout the day

* Don't eat before bedtime

* Increase your consumption of fruit & vegetables

* Choose lower-fat dairy products (but splurge on probiotic yogurts!)

* Reduce your consumption of animal fat

* Limit sugary foods, refined grains, and salty snacks

* Dramatically reduce transfats

* Eat more fish and nuts

* Limit alcohol and caffeine consumption

* Drink plenty of water
