Hello. I have a question regarding problems I have been experiencing since my daughters burth in March of 2007. Once a month to once every two months I wake up out of a dead sleep with horrible stomach cramping, neausea, chills, loud gurgling bowl sounds and the urge to vomit. I cannot tell initially if I will vomit or have diareaha when I reach the restroom. I then am doubled over with severe pain. I then either have a very large soft bowl movement that fills the toilet or most recently vomited brown stuff first then I had several hard bowel movements within 1 hour. I try to go back to sleep but the stomach pains and cramping is severe and starts agin as soon as I lay down so I eventuallyy fall asleep sitting up bent over :( Any other position is extremely painful. As soon as I stand the pain starts again also. Is this just my body getting rid of excess waste I am somehow accumulating? Afterwards I always fell better and am not sick the next day. I am thirsty quite often and drink only coffee and water and my diet is healthy and consists of very little oils and trans fats, and is rich in fiber. I give this info on my diet just as extra info if it helps you come to any conclusion as to what I am suffering with. I greatly appreciate any help at all with this matter as I dread another bout of whatever it is.
