Festering Wound

The wound has gotten worse. I noticed I could see what looked to be like a tendon when redressing the wound today. My surgeon was in surgery today so nothing could be done today. After I explained the wound to the assistant I was told rather nonchalantly that it sounds just like fascia and that I was doing everything right. I scheduled an appointment to see the surgeon first thing tomorrow morning. In the meantime I'm still a bit concerned.
